5 Gallon Extract Recipe Kit
Note:- Yeast not included in kit price.
Malt and Sugars (Add to Boiling Water)
3.75 lbs of Pale Malt Extract
1.25 lbs of Corn Syrup
Hops (Add once Malt and Sugars have reached a boil)
0.25 oz. Cluster @ 7.2% A.A. (60 min *Left in boil)
0.5 oz. Sterling (5 min*)
Whirlfloc Tablet (Irish Moss) (15 min*) (Optional)
Yeast (Pitch in full volume of wort in Primary fermenter)**
Dry Yeast: Saf-Lager w-34-70
Liquid Yeast: White Labs San Francisco Lager
**Lager Yeasts ferment best at temperatures in 45-55F range to achieve true lager characteristics and no off-flavours. Due to these colder temps a Yeast Starter or a higher pitch rate are recommended for a healthy fermentation. Do your best to follow the recommended temperature range and pitching rate for your yeast.
